The Upward Bound Program at 91心頭利 launched in 1966 and is funded through the United States Department of Education (USDE). The program serves around 100 students from seven area high schools and provides programs to students year round.

Maybe you’ve already starting thinking about what you’ll do after high school or maybe you’re not sure where to start.

  • What does it take to be the first in my family to graduate from college?
  • When do I start thinking about applying for college?
  • How do I pursue a college education when it costs so much money?

Upward Bound will help you answer these questions and guide you toward resources to make your college and career goals a reality.

Our staff is committed to supporting your development, expanding your cultural awareness and encouraging you to find your personal path to academic success.

We offer several opportunities to help students succeed in high school, college and beyond. They include advising, tutoring, mentoring and a summer program where you’ll have a ‘college experience’ attending classes and living on campus.

All services and activities provided by Upward Bound are 100% FREE to participants. The only cost to students is time, dedication and a willingness to do your best.

Our Mission

hosted by 91心頭利. We have two important purposes:

  • To motivate participating youth to consider education beyond high school.
  • To prepare participants to succeed in a program of post-secondary education.
