BSU to host Earth Day activities through April 2025

91��Ƭ��’s Sustainability Office is excited to invite the Bemidji community to observe Earth Day throughout April.

This year marks the 56th annual celebration of Earth Day, a mobilization of people around the world in support of stewardship for our home. Though the international theme for , 91��Ƭ�� invites you to consider how we steward water resources. In addition to engaging in active service for a cleaner environment, we are excited to gather and learn more about the Mississippi River watershed and actions we can take to better steward the critically important resource of water.

Sunday, April 6^th��–��Highway clean-up has been postponed due to the preponderance of snow!

BSU’s Sustainability Office has been selected to serve as a host site for a MN GreenCorps member from September 2020 through August 2021!

The member will assist with the process of rewriting BSU’s Climate Action Plan to include campus-community resilience and furthering waste-reduction efforts through composting and behavior change campaigns. about how you can make a difference with Minnesota GreenCorps.

Bemidji State Receives $320,000 Energy Efficiency Rebate From Otter Tail Power

BSU Named One of Nation’s Most “Green” Colleges for Third Consecutive Year

Bemidji State was listed among the top 413 environmentally responsible colleges in the country by The Princeton Review. This list reflected U.S. colleges and universities, but also included 16 colleges in Canada, one in Egypt, and one in Greece.
