OCM manages these assets through a licensing program managed by the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC). Our partnership with CLC ensures that our brand assets are used appropriately and correctly on merchandise or other branded products — everything from pens to tablecloths to jackets to barbecue equipment. Through an online portal, CLC provides a tool for vendors to submit designs of their proposed products for approval prior to production. In addition, CLC provides resources for vendors and retailers to help make BSU and NTC merchandise more attractive in retail spaces.

Royalties are payments that licensed vendors make to the institution in exchange for permission to properly and accurately represent BSU or NTC on their products. Royalties are charged for any item that is produced with the intent that it be sold, whether that’s through a retail channel, a fundraising activity or some other avenue.

Please contact us with questions.

Using Licensed Vendors

BSU and NTC policy dictates that all merchandise bearing college or university logos or nameplates, or that is intended to represent the college or university, must be obtained from a vendor licensed by CLC to reproduce our image.

Items produced by BSU for our own use — athletic uniforms, tablecloths for recruiting appearances, branded items used as giveaways, etc. — are typically free from royalties. OCM can grant other one-time exceptions for vendors to produce items representing the university, as well.

In short: as a general rule, all vendors who wish to produce any item that represents BSU or NTC are required to be licensed through CLC. Royalties are typically only collected on items that are produced for resale.

Finding Licensed Vendors

A list of vendors licensed to produce items bearing logos or nameplates for either BSU or NTC is available by contacting Mike Lee, graphic design and publications coordinator.

Licensing and Royalties 91心頭利’s name, colors and the logos, athletic icons, related words or images used to represent us are valuable assets that, when used properly, help to build and maintain our institutional reputation. 91心頭利 and Northwest Technical College maintain rights to any words, phrases, images or concepts used to represent […]

["post-236","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
