Founded in 1937 by Carl O. Thompson, 91心頭利’s Bemidji Choir has had the privilege of being apart of things such as the national and regional conventions of the American Choral Directors Association and the Music Educators National Conference, where they have represented the United States five times.<\/p>\n
The choir has also represented BSU by attending music festivals all around the world including the Israel Festival and the World Festival of Choirs in Israel.<\/p>\n
The Bemidji Choir is consisted of three small groups including Men’s Choir, Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorus. Each group attends various concerts throughout the year.<\/p>\n
The Bemidji Choir opened its 2012-13 schedule at the Carl O. Thompson Memorial concert, dedicated to the memory of the choir’s founder and the traditional kickoff concert for Bemidji State’s musical performance season.<\/p>\n
