Kim Babula Zerr <\/b>was a four-time letterwinner for the BSU women’s basketball team from 1983–87 and was inducted into the BSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015. Her daughters, Haley<\/b> and Hanna<\/b>, are now playing basketball for the Beavers. Haley is a freshman forward and Hanna is a junior guard.<\/p>\n

C.V. Hobson<\/b> is not only namesake of the Hobson Memorial Union but also part of a long tradition of Bemidji State alumni. His son, Ronald Hobson<\/b>, graduated in 1949 and lives in Brainerd. Ron’s daughter, Susan<\/b>, is a 1977 graduate, and Susan’s daughter, Kelli<\/b>, graduated in 2005. Kelli is married to Jason Schmitz<\/b>, a 2006 graduate. They live in Minneapolis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lisa Kittleson<\/b> is a senior marketing communication major from Norwood Young America and a third-generation Beaver. Her father, John<\/b>, is a 1987 graduate in business and marketing. John’s parents, his brother and his brother’s wife also graduated from Bemidji State.<\/span><\/p>\n

David Marchand<\/b> and his three brothers, Louis<\/b>, Peter<\/b> and William<\/b>, all attended Bemidji State. Louis was on the BSU faculty for many years and was named a professor emeritus of theatre in 1992.<\/span><\/p>\n

Todd Moen<\/b> graduated from Bemidji State with a degree in industrial technology in 1979. His grandfather, Francis W. Soderberg<\/b> ’54, graduated from Bemidji Normal School in the 1920s, and his late mother, Dionne, graduated in business in the mid–1950s. Todd’s brother, Del <\/b>‘82, graduated in political science in the mid-1980s.<\/span><\/p>\n
