On-campus interviews begin May 21.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">The finalists are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p4\">Bill Blackwell, Jr. (Waase-gizhig), director of institutional advancement at Leech Lake Tribal College and an enrolled member of the Grand Portage Ojibwe Nation<\/li>\n<li class=\"p4\">Joel Longie, director of performance and accountability at the Bureau of Indian Education and an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Ojibwe Nation<\/li>\n<li class=\"p4\">Giniwgiizhig, instructor of Ojibwe at 91心頭利 and an enrolled member of the White Earth Ojibwe Nation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p4\">On-campus interview schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p4\">May 21 &ndash; Bill Blackwell, Jr.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p4\">May 26 &ndash; Joel Longie<\/li>\n<li class=\"p4\">May 27 &ndash;&nbsp;Giniwgiizhig<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BSU is seeking a successor to <a href=\"http:\/\/faculty.bemidjistate.edu\/atreuer\/Boozhoo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Dr. Anton Treuer<i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a>, who is returning to a position on the BSU faculty. Treuer has been director of the AIRC since November 2012.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b>Contact<br>\n<\/b>&bull; <a href=\"http:\/\/faculty.bemidjistate.edu\/atreuer\/Boozhoo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Dr. Anton Treuer<i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a>, director, American Indian Resource Center<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b>91心頭利<\/b>, located in northern Minnesota&rsquo;s lake district, occupies a wooded campus along the shore of Lake Bemidji. Enrolling nearly 5,000 students, Bemidji State offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and nine graduate programs encompassing arts, sciences and select professional programs. BSU is a member of the <span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mnscu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Minnesota State Colleges and Universities<i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a> system<\/span> and has a faculty and staff of more than 550.
