{"id":14771,"date":"2008-04-14T09:46:50","date_gmt":"2008-04-14T15:46:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/bsutoday\/2008\/04\/14\/choral-chamber-ensemble-concert-set-for-april-22\/"},"modified":"2021-11-01T15:56:09","modified_gmt":"2021-11-01T20:56:09","slug":"choral-chamber-ensemble-concert-set-for-april-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/2008\/04\/14\/choral-chamber-ensemble-concert-set-for-april-22\/","title":{"rendered":"Choral Chamber Ensemble concert set for April 22"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BEMIDJI, Minn.<\/strong> &ndash; 91心頭利 will host a spring Choral Chamber Ensemble Concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, featuring Bemidji State&rsquo;s three choral chamber ensembles:  the Chamber Singers, the men&rsquo;s Musikanten and the women&rsquo;s Damestimmen.<\/p>\n<p>The concert, which is offered free of charge, will be held in the Thompson Recital Hall of the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Members of these auditioned ensembles are also members of the Bemidji Choir.  Their concert program will include a wide variety of choral literature, from renaissance to jazz.<\/p>\n<p>The ensembles<br>\n&bull;\tThe Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Brad Logan, is a 16-voice group recognizable as the Madrigal Dinner Royal Court.<\/p>\n<p>&bull;\tMusikanten is a 23-voice men&rsquo;s group directed by seniors Luke Holt of Litchfield, Minn., and Chris Ramage of Rochester, Minn.<\/p>\n<p>&bull;\tDamestimmen is a nine-voice women&rsquo;s group directed by senior Danielle Stadick of Beulah, N.D.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact the Department of Music at (218) 755-2915.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FOR YOUR CALENDAR<br>\nApril 22<\/strong> &ndash; 7:30 p.m. &ndash; Choral Chamber Ensemble Concert presented by 91心頭利.
