Admission prior to February 1st is required for Foundation Scholarships. Earlier admission ensures early access to class registration and the housing application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students who meet our criteria will be guaranteed admission as first-year applicants: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher, or a GED transcript with scores of 165 or above on each subject (older GED scores may vary). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What if you don’t meet the guaranteed admission requirements?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If your GPA is between 2.5 and 2.74, you will be admitted conditionally. This means you’ll receive additional academic support and will have requirements to complete before or during your first semester to ensure your success at BSU<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you do not meet our automatic or conditional admissions criteria, you will be invited to share more about your academic journey through our Holistic Review Process. This review takes a closer look at your academic history, personal achievements, test scores (if submitted), recommendations, and any special circumstances.
