Bemidji State’s biology department offers a wide variety of student opportunities ranging from over 25 merit-based scholarships to our very own forest that is utilized for outdoor recreation, education and research.<\/p>\n
Bemidji State is home to multiple fantastic biology facilities<\/a> that are available to students and faculty.<\/p>\n All biology majors must complete an internship as part of their departmental requirements.<\/p>\n Internships and degree-related jobs<\/a> can provide valuable experience for students in their field of study. It allows students to experience what working in their field will look like once they graduate. Internships and jobs in the field of your studies can encourage students to create connections in their field and with potential future employers.<\/p>\n The department also often looks to fill available work-study and student-worker positions with biology majors.
