Bemidji State’s home on the shores of Lake Bemidji have helped it earn recognition as the ‘Nation’s #1 Fishing College.’<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>

It’s no secret that 91心頭利 prides itself on its location in the scenic and serene Minnesota Northwoods, on the shores of Lake Bemidji. Earlier this month, Scout.com recognized just one of the many outdoor options available in the Bemidji area by naming BSU the No. 1 college in the country for fishing.<\/p>\n

Bemidji State’s campus sits on Lake Bemidji, a 6,420-acre lake with a maximum depth of 76 feet. An active fishing lake all year round, Lake Bemidji has six public boat accesses and is managed for walleye, northern pike, yellow perch and muskellunge.<\/p>\n

The scout.com story notes that in addition to Lake Bemidji, there are 400 fishing lakes within a 25-mile radius of campus.<\/p>\n

“Given the amazing number of nearby lakes, coupled with an amazing fishery adjacent to campus, Bemidji State ranks as my No. 1 fishing school in the country,” Dave Maas, the story’s author, said.<\/p>\n
